Time to share some writing!

Dream Big
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sophia. Sophia was 10 years old and loved to stargaze. She got a dog for her birthday. Its name was Storm. They lived on a farm with sheep and chickens. Sophia and Storm loved to sneak out at night and stargaze on a big hill that was on the farm. The two never got caught out there in the middle of the night. Sophia loved to put imaginary lines to connect the stars and make a picture. Most of the time it was pictures of birds or insects. But one day when Sophia was stargazing with Storm she saw the stars transform themselves into a picture of herself and Storm. This had never happened before but again they had never stargazed on that day it was the 25 of March.
On very special occasions the two would go to a land only they seemed to know about. This land was made up of all sorts of magical books. The piles of books would grow and grow until they reached the sky. Sophia would then touch her unexisting star creation on this specific day the creature was a lifesize humpback whale. However the most interesting thing about the sky at night was she never saw the picture of herself and storm again. The day’s went by really quickly after that. And then came the 25 of March…
The night was expected to be quite warm so Sophia was really excited, however Storm was acting a bit strange. Sophia still took Storm with her but was that a good decision?
Sophia and Storm went out to stargaze it was quite early but she still had hope. The stars came and Sophia and Storm waited. Then finally it came into place the picture was starting to come together. But it soon finished. The only thing in the picture was Sophia…
Later on in the year Storm started getting really sick. They took him to the vet multiple times but nothing could be changed. What they didn't know was that the next time they went to the vet might end up being the last…
It was the 24 of March. They took Storm to the vet once again and they heard the Veterinarian say the dreaded 7 words, ”we will have to put storm down”. The family was really sad but knew it was going to be the best thing they could do for Storm.
It was a very quiet ride home for everyone was dreading the next day. The day arrived it was the 25 of March. It might have been a coincidence or the sky just jinxed it. Sophia and her Mum stayed home while their Dad took Storm to the vet. Then Sophia thought it was exactly a year ago that she saw herself without Storm in the stars and now that picture had come to life. Sophia still went out stargazing that night and saw…
Herself with a dog but it was not Storm. It was a big labrador retriever.
That year went by very quickly for Sophia although she didn't have Storm to accompany her. When Sophia's birthday came she was feeling a little bit better but still it wasn't going to be the same without Storm. She had one big present but her mother told her to open it at the very end of the day. Once it was time to open her present Sophia was so excited but she didn't have any idea on what was coming next.
She started opening the present. It was a box with holes in it. Sophia knew it was some kind of animal but what was it… Sophia started to open the box and turned out she had gotten a new dog. It was a labrador retriever. “What are you going to call him?”Sophia's mother asked.”Maybe something like Archer,” Sophia answered. So that was it. Sophia had a new dog called Archer and was ready to start a new adventure.
