Our ASB Get Wise Lesson With Kimble

Today Kimble came to teach us about being financially literate. He made us laugh when he pretended to be a caveman. Then when he was a pirate Flynn predicted he was going to split his pants and he did! We have learnt that a long time ago people used to trade what they had for something they wanted. We learnt that a bank is a safe place to keep our money so it doesn't get lost or stolen. We can get an eftpos card so we can get our money out of the bank but only if our Mum or Dad says we can. Kimble talked to us about doing chores so we could earn some money. We learnt it is a good idea to spend some money on us but also to save some too, Shanil, Jackson and Jahquinia helped Kimble teach us it is important to shop around to save money.

My Super Epic Build

This is a awesome build because it looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool. At the back of it (with the long wheels) it has a little drone that can be unattached and it can fly around. It can also split into three pieces. The top piece has rapid fire! The middle piece has charge attack! Now comes the last piece. The last piece can fly around attacking from the skys! Written by Flynn

Our Science Experiment
We set out 7 cups and then we put water in every second cup. We put red, yellow, or blue food coloring into the water filled cups. Then we folded up 6 paper towels and put them into the cups. One end went in one cup and the other end went in the cup next door. We waited for three hours and this is what happened. The water moved into the empty cups through the paper towels and made different colors. We started with red, yellow and blue. We made orange, purple and green.
When we got back after leaving the water and paper towels in the cups over the weekend - look what had happened! All the cups had an equal amount of water. Plus our yellow water had turned orange, our green water was very green and our purple water was really purple.
