Blobs in a Bottle
We want to explain how we made the blobs in a bottle that looked like a lava lamp. First we put ¾ of a cup of water in a bottle. Second we filled up the bottle with vegetable oil. Third we put 10 drops of food colouring into the bottle. We had to wait and watch the food colouring go down to the water. Fourth we broke a berocca tablets in half and put half into the bottle. Next we watched to see what would happen: the dark bluey/greeny coloured sphere shaped blobs went up and down very slowly in a oval shaped pattern. Then it went to sleep like a lazy volcano, with the water at the bottom and the oil at the top. Written by Room 10
